NINE INCH NAILS RETURN TO U.S. ARENAS FRESH FROM A SOLD-OUT GLOBAL TOUR OF EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN AND NEW ZEALAND:

March 13, 2000, New York, NY � nine inch nails announce today their U.S. tour "Fragility v2.0" beginning April 12 in Cleveland, OH at CSU Convocation Center. With "Fragility v2.0", nine inch nails - who redefined live performance in the 90's - return to U.S. arenas for the first time in 5 years, fresh from a sold-out global tour of Europe and Japan (their own "Fragility v1.0") and Australia and New Zealand (as headliners for the Big Day Out). This tour will be the first time U.S. fans can see nine inch nails perform music from their current CD, "THE FRAGILE."

A comprehensive ten week tour, "Fragility v2.0" will cover approximately 45 dates. The first nine dates are being announced today. Additional dates and the full itinerary will be announced shortly. On-sale dates in each market will be announced this week.

nine inch nails live is Trent Reznor (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Robin Finck (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Danny Lohner (bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals), Charlie Clouser (keyboards, theremin, vocals), and Jerome Dillon (drums).

Released in late September 1999, "THE FRAGILE" entered the BILLBOARD charts at #1. Embraced by fans and critics alike, the CD has been certified multi-platinum and has received rave reviews. USA TODAY named the CD "The Best" of the year and SPIN magazine named "THE FRAGILE" "Album Of The Year." TIME, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE LA TIMES, and THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE among others named "THE FRAGILE" one of the top ten albums of the year. nine inch nails and "THE FRAGILE" topped the 1999 year-end Reader's Polls in SPIN and ALTERNATIVE PRESS magazines among others. Live reviews from overseas have consistently reinforced nine inch nails' reputation as an aggressive and unique live band.
